History

LICO was founded in 2001 by Hugh Gordon. With 15-years of industry experience already under his belt, Hugh, trading as LICO,  initially worked as a sole contract operator for various large logging firms across the eastern states. With experience in the operation of multiple machine types, he was able to fill in for staff on leave and mitigate production shortfalls.

LICO purchased its first forwarder in 2003, and a harvester in 2005 when it secured its first harvesting contract in Tumut, NSW. Since then, LICO has built both a sizeable equipment pool, and a reputation for delivering high-quality products, and excellent value recovery at high efficiency levels.

LICO has recently expanded its workforce of skilled personnel and is currently operating in the Adelaide Hills of South Australia, contracting to both public and private growers.
